Create Something Everyday.

Life is hard. We all know that. Adults run about having a job, raising families, and living their lives. And that can be a great life. But that is a reality that millions of people will never have. They lose interest in their careers, friends, possibly their families. And that is sad. Part of that cycle starts by losing interest. Just repeating the same pattern in life can be boring. Humans are fulled by achievements. By taking in the view on that mountain you climbed. Or eating what you harvested or caught. We take pleasure from creating. And we've stopped creating. We've stopped adding value to each other's lives. And today I'm going to tell you why and how you should create.

Humans have an innate desire to feel desired. To feel validated. And there is no better way to achieve that than by creating and giving to those that matter. Writing a letter or creating art for someone can feel good. For you and the receiver. And you don't have to be good at it. It's the thought that counts right?

Doodling in your notebook in a meeting or during class. Now I don't recommend doing this (all the time ;), but doodling can keep you entertained and filling up paged can give you a real satisfaction.

And all that is great, but none of that comes close that the act of creating and sharing what you know to the world. Or your story. Your story is yours, no one else's. It's unique. It's your North Star. And recalling on your story to teach the world something it may not know is honorable. And understanding that everyone has a unique story and knows something that you don't is eye-opening. So if everyone has something to share, imagine everyone telling their story. That would be a better world. And it can only happen if all of us start creating.
